Christy Cates

Christy Cates is the Executive Director, Strategic Organizational and Talent Management, and part of University Advancement’s senior leadership team. She has been in this position for over eight years and has 14 years of experience as a human resources professional in both the public and private sectors.  Prior to joining the University Advancement team, she worked for multi-site corporations that employed between 800-4,000 employees in various western states.  She earned a degree in political science from San Diego State University and she is a member of the SHRM and CASE. Christy and her husband, Eric, live in Tustin Ranch and have a son in elementary school.
